Tea Type
Black Tea
Tasting Notes
Delicious cup with roasted nutty, chocolate malty notes and an undertone of citrusy kick
About
This tea is plucked from a medium-high grown estate called Kirkoswald in Dimbulla. Kirkoswald was developed as a tea estate by 2 partners. As the name might suggest, these were Kirk & Oswald. Initially, the pair cultivated coffee. A devastating crop infestation in the mid-1800s put an end to this however and forced them to switch to tea. Kirk & Oswald tended to the estate as committed owners and managers until their deaths later in the same century. Teas from this region naturally carry a rose-type scent. If you visit during the dry season (the first quarter of the year), the plant’s perfume is particularly prominent due to the crisp, refreshing atmosphere.

Engage your senses at the start of your day with our breakfast tea selection. This tea tastes how a proper tea should.

Ingredients – Camellia Sinensis (Tea Leaf)

We are proud to support WaterAid as our chosen charity. You can find out more at https://www.wateraid.org/uk/
