Tea Type
Oolong Tea
Aromatic cup rich in mineral, wet forest with sweet fruit notes and a little toasty finish
About
Oolong time ago, a man named Wu Liang from China (later referred to as Wu Long) accidentally discovered Oolong tea. One day, after a difficult day of plucking tea, he was distracted by a passing deer and wandered off. By the time he remembered to return to his work, his tea had partially oxidised. The result? An aroma-filled tea that we recognise these days as Oolong.
Inspired by the Great Chinese and Taiwanese artisanal Oolong tea production, we have selected tea leaves from rocky, mountainous terrain. From a climate faced with the extreme cold temperatures of the Nuwara Eliya highlands, and from the mid-country climes of Uda Pussellawa, we have created this warming cup to be enjoyed Oolong the length of the day.
Ingredients: Camellia Sinesis (Tea Leaf)
